If you’ve had a good time at a wedding or event in the DC/Maryland/VA area, chances are it was DJ Casanova that got you moving. You know him as DJ Casanova, but around the office, we just call him Jamie. Back in the day, he was just a child of immigrants recording his favorite songs over his parent’s cassette tapes (sorry Mom and Dad) so he could listen to them on his prized Walkman. Jamie entered the DJ field in 2009, and before long he was spinning something at a different party every week. Pretty soon he realized that sharing his love of music with like-minded folks was more than just a hobby, it was a gift.

It’s your party, and when we do our job, you’ll get all the credit. When we take on a client, we want to perfectly reflect the taste and spirit of their event. Preparation is everything, and when we schedule your event, we work with you to get a feel for your goals, audience, and expectations. Our deep library of music stretches from 16th-century classical music to that song that’s going to be next week’s big hit. We can deliver R&B, Cumbia, Rock, Dance, and almost any other genre that you could need. We know all the party classics to get people moving, and we’re experts at reading a crowd and getting the perfect song going.

    Long story short - our guests endlessly rave about our dance floor!! Jamie was easy to work with, polite, timely, and professional. He provided an organized template that made it easy to provide the music we wanted. We appreciated his flexibility in allowing us to pick the playlist, while still using expertise to manage the flow and keep the dance floor going. By the end of the night, our guests were chanting for "one more song!" and he happily obliged! (not all DJs would!)

    Jamie Alberti, aka DJ Casanova, was the BEST DJ we could have possibly chosen for our wedding. He was incredibly helpful in the lead up to the big day and met with us in advance to discuss the details, the vibe we were going for, and the types of music we definitely wanted played on our big day! On the day itself, he had all the tech set up and ready to go for our ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception itself - all of which were spread out in different locations across our venue. He definitely got his steps in on our wedding day but he was certainly up to the task. He did a great job with the announcements for the evening and we're so happy that we went with him! Highly recommend!

    Our Guests LOVED the music and Jamie was so easy to work with! If you want a DJ who is easy to work with, great at his craft, and cares about you and your needs, Jaime (DJ Casanova) is your man! My wife and I come from very different musical backgrounds, so making sure all of our family and friends had a good time and felt well-represented during the party was really important to us. From day one, Jaime made it feel like we were working with an old friend who just wanted the best for our wedding and he absolutely delivered! Everyone had so much fun and guest after guest commented on how much they enjoyed the music during the party. It’s also worth mentioning that Jaime hung with us after we had to reschedule our reception twice over two years (thanks, COVID) and worked with the rest of our vendors to make the long-awaited day as memorable as we could have ever hoped. Thanks, Jamie!

    We had an amazing experience working with Jamie (DJ Casanova) for our wedding in October 2022 (been meaning to write a review for so long)! Jamie was very professional throughout the whole planning process. We actually hired him in 2020 but we had to postpone our wedding twice because of covid (he was very flexible and made the postponement process very smooth). We met virtually/over the phone a few times and he assured us he was available to meet as many times as we'd like. Closer to our wedding date, we had a more formal meeting where we went through the timeline of the whole reception detail by detail. He had a form where we put in all the information, which showed he was experienced at the job. I was very particular about the type of music I wanted to be played at our reception and he was super easy-going about it and assured us that he was there to implement our vision. On our actual wedding day, everything went as planned and honestly even better than I could have ever imagined! I love to dance and so do many of our guests, and thanks to Jamie, the dance floor was never empty even for one second! He knew how to read the room and change the music accordingly. Even after our wedding, everyone couldn’t stop talking about how fun the party was! In sum, I highly recommend Jamie and already have recommended him to some friends looking to get married soon! Thank you again for everything, Jamie!
