DJ Karizma Entertainment is a professional and interactive DJ and MC service originally from Belize (Central America/ Caribbean), currently serving weddings and special events throughout Virginia and beyond. They have been providing epic wedding entertainment services internationally since 2009 and have been based out of Virginia since the fall of 2017.

Chris August, Owner of DJ Karizma Entertainment LLC is passionate about providing memorable musical experiences for couples and their guests. Having played for people from all over the world, Chris’s clients appreciate his Caribbean/North American fusion style of entertainment, his crowd interaction skills, and his ability to read the crowd and adapt accordingly. The versatile DJ can accommodate a guest list comprised of different ages, backgrounds, and music preferences. He offers music of all genres.

From day one of wedding planning, our top priority was having a great DJ. We had very high expectations, but DJ Karizma blew those out of the water! He was absolutely AMAZING! Professional, knowledgeable, and so friendly from start to finish. He kept the energy up & the dance floor packed all night long with the perfect playlist. Every time a new song played, we found ourselves saying “I freaking love this song!” We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ — he truly made the night unforgettable!

If you don't know what DJ to book for your wedding, please look no further! DJ Karizma was the first vendor I booked after the venue because I really valued the experience of the music, reception, and someone that is an amazing MC at getting the guests pumped, hooked and controlling a room for your timeline of events. I can say our guests and other vendors at the venue said this was the one of BEST wedding receptions they've been too because of DJ Karizma. We were literally dancing and screaming the whole time and I never left the dancefloor once reception started. (Still recovering to get my voice back). If you have a type of vibe that you are going for for your wedding, he will listen with all ears and do just that. If I could give 11/10 stars would!! This was the most unforgettable night of laughing, crying, dancing, so thank you so much DJ Karizma for your expertise and talent!!

This is what I live for! You communicated your vision well and let me know how much you valued the music experience. We collaborated on the music vibes you wanted for the different parts of the day, and the conga line transition from the dinner area to the dancefloor was pure genius. We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with DJ Karizma! He is the BEST! From start to finish, he was incredibly professional and organized, making sure every detail was accounted for leading up to the big day. He paid close attention to all of our requests, even accommodating last-minute changes with ease. On the night of our wedding, he brought the perfect energy to keep the dance floor alive all night long. He read the room beautifully, always choosing the right song at the right moment, which made for an unforgettable party. And as a bride, he 100% had my back and was not afraid to tell guests no if they requested something off the ‘no play list’. My guests have all said how great he was as well. We booked Chris (DJ Karizma) after a friend’s recommendation, and he exceeded every expectation. From the start, he was professional, organized, and clearly passionate about what he does. He provided us with great planning tools for music choices and timelines, and we had a call the week of the wedding to fine-tune our vision. On the wedding day, Chris was prompt, prepared, and worked seamlessly with our ceremony musician (the bride’s brother-in-law) to ensure the sound was perfect. We gave Chris song choices for the key moments, a short list of must-plays, and then trusted him to do what he does best—read the room and keep the energy alive. We wanted a party, and he absolutely delivered! The dance floor was packed from start to finish and still going strong when the night ended at 11pm. Our guests couldn’t stop raving: “Your DJ was on it all night!” Chris even went the extra mile by coordinating with the DJ at our after-party venue, so the celebration never missed a beat. DJ Karizma truly crushed it—professional, talented, and fun. We would 100% recommend him for any wedding or special event!
