Q: Do you take music requests?

If the bride & groom say it’s ok, then we love to take requests from the guests because they help keep the party going!

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Yes, we proved two separate setups if necessary for both the ceremony & cocktail hour/reception.

Q: How early do you come to set up?

We prefer to set up a minimum of two hours prior to our events. We do this to make sure everything works as it needs to and make necessary adjustments if it doesn’t stop the event won’t be affected if at all possible.

Q: Do you provide other services, such as lighting or photo booths?

Yes, we provide a ‘Dancing in the Clouds’ experience, additional uplighting, a custom monogram projection, two selfie station options & a karaoke setup.

Q: What is your travel and break down fee?

We have no break down fee, and our travel fees vary dependent on event location. We do not charge travel fees for anything an hour or less away from our home.

I love what I do. I love all my couples and I love where I live & that so many choose this area to get married in. I feel that love is love, no matter who is getting married, & everyone deserves to have the biggest, best wedding day ever! And I love to share that with each of my couples on so many different levels. Whether I am DJing, officiating, planning, coordinating, bartending, decorating, creating florals or any combo of those, I always leave my events feeling like I’ve added new family to mine!

We are women owned and operated. In a world where DJs are primarily men, Amanda & I stand out as fun, upbeat females. Plus, we help you with every party of your day, no matter what we are hired to do for you. From the moment we first spoke with Kris from Kinkead Performance & Events, LLC, we knew we were in good hands. Their communication style was calming, fun, and comforting, putting us at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process. On the day of our wedding, Kris officiated the ceremony, and their professionalism and enthusiasm made the experience truly special. She was very fun and ready to go from the start, and they went above and beyond to ensure that our day was perfect - anything we needed, they did it! We felt incredibly welcome and comfortable working with Kris, and the quality of their work and overall value was great. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this company! My wedding was a disaster and ruined by my wedding coordinator- the ONLY people who attempted to help me was Kristi and her DJ Amanda. They went above and beyond for me and I only hired them for the DJ services, not coordinating. If I could redo my wedding, I would hire only them. Thank you ladies!!!

Kinkead Performance & Events was an amazing choice for our wedding entertainment. Kristi and her team were awesome to work with - their communication was dedicated, helpful, and understanding throughout the entire process. Paul and Gage, the DJs for our wedding, were a blast to work with and kept everyone dancing all night long. The quality of their work was truly amazing, and they went above and beyond to make our special day even more memorable.
