Q: How early do you come to set up?

Typically, we like to arrive at the venue 2-2.5 hours prior to your event start time.

Q: Are you fully insured?

Yes, Rich Event Services carries general liability insurance.

Q: What is your travel and break down fee?

Set up and break down is included in the quoted price. SF specific events and events requiring greater than 100 mile round trip will incur a $250 fee.

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Yes, for ceremonies we would provide a second ceremony specific system. This is included in our Gold Package. If cocktail hour is located in same proximity of either reception or ceremony location, there will be no additional fees. If located elsewhere at the venue, we can bring a third system for a nominal fee.

Q: How far out do you book your services?

On average, wedding clients are booking DJ services about 6-12 months out from their weddings, but in some cases it can be 18 months.

DJ Chris Rich was a great choice for our wedding DJ. He was highly rated on Zola and he lived up to those expectations! From the start, he had a straightforward, consistent communication style and provided helpful suggestions to ensure our vision for our wedding came true. He offered a great deal, listened closely to our opinions, and was completely reliable throughout the planning process and up through the big day. Our guests were very complimentary of his performance, with several commenting that he was one of the better wedding DJs they had experienced. The lighting also looked fantastic and really set the mood. We highly recommend DJ Chris!

If you’re looking for a very fun and thorough DJ that will help bring your wedding to the next level and really personalize the day to you, then I highly recommend Rich Events. Rich events has been an absolute pleasure to work with. His communication and clarity on what to expect for your big day is fantastic. He made the whole process for me as a planner and for my couple very easy and fun. The couple raved about how great Chris was to talk with during every phone call. The day of the wedding he brought the perfect level of professionalism and made the whole day very personal for the couple. He also kept people on the dance floor the whole night. Chris was the best DJ and we are so happy we picked is services! First he made a 100 mile drive to the venue from home to dj at our wedding and was so caring and cared about the little details! He did an amazing job all night! You won’t regret hiring him as your DJ!!
