My goal is always to be transparent, responsive, and clear so couples can feel confident in the floral designs we create together. I regret if my style or approach did not align with your expectations. Regarding pricing, I understand that wedding flowers are both a creative and financial investment. I take great care to provide detailed proposals that reflect the quality of flowers, the complexity of designs, and the labor involved in bringing your vision to life. I appreciate that every couple has a unique budget, and I’m always happy to discuss options that can achieve beauty while being mindful of costs. I reviewed our original contract pricing and the final scope of services and saw no changes in the unit pricing that were agreed upon at contract signing. The difference in the total price was due to add-on items such as cocktail hour decor, easel rental, table number rentals, and an additional centerpiece. When you inquired about candle decor, I provided the pricing in 2024 and then honored the same quote when you requested pricing for a second time in 2025. Our pricing structure is A La Carte and the same for all couples that inquire. My error may have been in not properly communicating the typical spend/budget for couples that work with us. I feel awful knowing that you felt that we withheld important information and didn't care about your wedding. I assure you we cared about your wedding. Our goal is to go above and beyond for our couples. I came to the conclusion that perhaps not meeting you in person prior to the wedding may have led to the disconnect you felt between me/our services. I thought the centerpiece sample meeting with your mom was lovely and felt that it helped in easing your concerns about the scale/style of the arrangements prior to the wedding. During that meeting, I spoke to your mom about the basis for the LUCID candle pricing structure; the individual candle care, fillable liquid costs, smokeless and dripless (no wax), stay lit for the duration of the reception, environmental benefits, etc. We take great pride in sourcing decor that elevates our designs and is responsible but understand that pricing won't work for everyone; this is why we decided the A La Carte approach works best so we can provide as little or as much as the client needs/requests.
