Hi, I’m Kels, a makeup artist from Sydney, Australia, who found her way to Chicago for love. Now I live here with my husband, Miles, and our sweet pup, Bonsai. When I’m not creating glowing bridal looks, you’ll find me baking sourdough or belting out a karaoke ballad. I’m deeply passionate about helping brides feel like their most radiant, authentic selves on their wedding day. There’s nothing more special than walking toward your person, glowing with confidence and calm.

Yes! I highly recommend booking a bridal preview, typically 6–8 weeks before your wedding and usually 2 hours set aside for it. A preview is the perfect opportunity to see exactly how your makeup will look before the big day. It gives us time to walk through every detail; your skin prep, tones, preferences, and the overall vibe you want, without the time pressure of a wedding timeline. It ensures you feel completely confident and excited about your look, and it allows me to tailor everything just for you.

Yes! I’m based in Morton Grove and offer on-site makeup services throughout Chicagoland and southern Wisconsin. A travel fee will be applied depending on the distance, but I’ll always include it clearly in your quote, no hidden costs or surprises.

I can accommodate up to 6–8 people on a wedding day, depending on when you need to be ready by. My goal is to ensure everyone receives quality, unrushed service. If your party is larger or the timeline is tight, I’m happy to discuss options, like adjusting the start time or bringing in a second artist if needed!

Bridal dates tend to fill up quickly especially during peak season (May through October) so I always recommend reaching out as soon as you have your date and location confirmed. To officially reserve your spot, a signed contract and retainer are required.

Kelsey did an amazing job on my Wedding Day make up!! We did a trial together with a look I thought I had wanted, and her execution was flawless! I did decide to go with something completely different for the day of, and even without any practice, Kelsey NAILED my vision and even did so with some scheduling hiccups (totally my fault lol). My make up lasted through a whole day/night in Chicago in August (incredibly humid and I'm a sweaty gal), and through every tear I shed. My husband wore a tan suit and I also had no problems with transferring anything onto him! She's such a kind soul and was incredibly reassuring while I had profusely apologized for the tight schedule. She really made me feel so beautiful and loved and I can't thank her enough for that! Kelsey was amazing! I had so much fun chit chatting when she was doing my makeup and had tons of fun. The makeup looked amazing and lasted too! I always have trouble color matching foundation and she got it spottt on!
