SCAM ARTIST
DO NOT BOOK LILYLUX! SHE SWILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY!! I had booked LilyLux in August of 2024 for my wedding on August 23rd, 2025. I had booked my trial with Hayley on June 3rd which Hayley showed up to unprepared but overall the trial went well. From the time of my trial to the wedding day, I had attempted to contact Hayley numerous times via phone, email and the portal of which you are given when you book with her. Because Hayley had not responded to any of my attempts, my bridesmaids and I decided to do some research on her and LilyLux as a business. During our research we found numerous reviews that seemed similar to what was happening and we also found out that she does not have an establishment license to operate her business out of her personal suite in Janesville. Fast forward to the Thursday before my wedding when I FINALLY got an email from Hayley asking what time her and her team were able to start my bridal party’s hair and makeup. I had told her what time and gave her the address, but didn't hear back. After my rehearsal dinner friday night, I had gotten an email from her “husband” at 10:03 pm stating that Hayley had been in a “serious accident” and was currently in surgery. He goes on to say that he is reaching out on her behalf to find replacement artists and that if coverage can not be secured, I would be issued a full refund right away. I did not end up getting replacement artists or my refund back. I did however get an email from LilyLux with the remaining balance that had to be paid to which I had sent an email to Hayley asking if she could void. She responded instantly, and ended up voiding the remainder the same day. I then asked about the refund that was promised to which she said she would process it that day but that it could take up to 5 days for it to actually process. After 2 weeks of waiting and no refund, I had reached out on September 5th and 15th to ask about the status of the refund and have not heard back since. Here is where it gets good. Since my wedding on August 23rd of this year, LilyLux has been given NUMEROUS terrible reviews all similar to my experience. But one in specific is the EXACT same date and reasoning of cancellation. I decided to reach out to the bride who posted it and found out that she got the same email (copy and paste) from Hayley’s “husband” and is also still fighting to get her money back from the services she did not receive. It is SICKENING to me that Hayley can scam brides over and over on one of the most important days of their lives and go as far as lying about being in an accident that required surgery. I hope at some point there is a legal investigation on Hayley and LilyLux so this doesn't happen to any other brides. Needless to say, I will be pursuing every form of legal action towards LilyLux and I encourage everyone who has had a similar experience to do the same.

I tried really hard to avoid writing this review, but at this point I need to. I saw on Google that someone else had a horrible experience and worked with a lawyer, which is why I need to ensure no bride books with her. I booked Haley and everything upfront was great - quick communicator, thorough, and I was able to easily schedule my trial. My trial went fine and I was pleased with the outcome and Haley said she would send a follow up the next day so I could share any feedback about how the HMU lasted throughout the day. She said she would confirm details of services in that email as well. That email didn't come on Sunday, but I didn't think much of it. A couple weeks later as I geared up to meet with my coordinator, I emailed Haley reconfirming my numbers and asking how many artists she would have to gauge scheduling. I didn't hear back, but I then handed over my vendor list to my planner to reach out to everyone for schedule alignment. A month later, my coordinator let me know she still hadn't gotten in touch with Haley. I then proceeded to email, call, text - never a reply. I even got to the point where I said "can you please acknowledge that you are seeing my messages, even if you don't have final answers at this time." - radio silence. At this point, I was 30 days out from my wedding with no confirmation of her schedule for the day, which impacts many elements. After a week of trying to get in touch, I let her know I would need to start looking elsewhere, hoping it would trigger a response - I even offered an out if she needed it. Still no response - across 6 weeks at this point. I even sent a new inquiry in hopes to get a response. I booked someone new because I lost all hope that I'd hear from Haley again. I sent my official email to Haley stating that I had to move on due to zero communication. NOTHING in response. When I sent a follow-up asking for a refund, she resonded within 20 MINUTES. No excuse or rationale for the radio silence, but she agreed to refund a portion due to me having had my trial. BUT - you guessed it - I still haven't seen my refund. This has been a full month from my wedding, which means it's been 5 weeks since my initial ask. While the contract states the deposit is non-refundable, the complete lack of response should be an exception and she even noted it - "given the circumstances..." I am still out 700 - This continues to be the most frustrating part of my wedding planning experience and I wouldn't wish it on anyone - 700 is a huge amount of money, not to mention I had to book a new hair trial, take time for it, all during my wedding month. If the affordable rate lures you in, think twice. I have NEVER written a bad review and I try to give the benefit of the doubt, an understanding that life gets hard - which is why it has taken me so long to write this. But with no attempt to make it right, I have to spare a future bride from this stress and financial burden.
