From creating beautiful portraits of brides and families to capturing the most meaningful of unscripted moments, there’s nothing that I enjoy more than visual storytelling. While working as a professional Houston Wedding Photographer, I’ve found that I’m able to create and express beautiful narratives through my portrait and wedding photography. My work as a photographer captures more than simply the appearance of a person. I work carefully to tell each story and show who each individual is as a unique person.

    Akil and his second, Matthew, were really friendly to work with. Matthew even let my husband borrow his pocket square! Akil was really flexible with his schedule - we had a rushed timeline for a special venue for our engagement photos and he was able to accommodate and also gave us some extra time at the wedding. I had envisioned a bit "more" for the engagement shoot than we got, but the photos were very serviceable and no one else would have known but me what had been in my head. My biggest disappointment about the wedding photos is that, while I made a list of photos I'd like to be taken and we took those photos... no one seems to have noticed that I didn't ask for pictures of just me and my husband. This went past the professional (and pricey!) wedding planners as well as the photography team. I totally understand that I didn't make the request, but it was my first (and hopefully only!) wedding - which is why you hire a team of seasoned professionals to give you guidance... I don't think there were any *wow* photos, just lots of nice ones. Maybe we just aren't photogenic.
