At Cylee Catherine Events, we believe in planning and coordinating events so that the hosts are able to enjoy the moments that will one day be their favorite memories to look back on. Throughout the planning process, I do my best to listen to your ideas and help bring forward the vision for your special day that you are trying to achieve with a flawless execution.

My name is Cylee Ragan and I am your new favorite Wedding & Special Event Planner/Coordinator. I honestly feel like the luckiest person in the world to get the opportunity to be a part of someone's MOST special day. Weddings and Special Events are really a passion of mine. I get the opportunity to be the chaos coordinator, bonus Maid of Honor (to make sure all the tasks/to-dos you delegated get followed through) and the calming presence on a day that goes by way too quickly. I get to be the last person you see before you walk up the aisle, and the one at the end of the night cleaning up after the BEST PARTY EVER!

if you’re anything like i was and you’re on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, take this as your sign. i was very adamant that a wedding planner did not fit into our budget. i had been stalking cylee’s social medias and was so jealous that i couldn’t have her. since im stubborn, i began to attempt to plan the wedding by myself. i remember thinking to myself “how hard could this be?” my question was quickly answered when i had 37 vendors emailing me the next morning. we ended up hiring cylee, thinking she would “just be a wedding planner.” we were quickly proved wrong. cylee has turned into a friend. she has seen me at my best, my worst, and everything inbetween that. the amount of mental breakdowns she talked me through while we attempted to fix my flowers, make my seating chart, guest drama, etc. cylee sat with me for 8 hours…yes you read that right!!! she sat with me for EIGHT HOURS building my arch florals, welcome sign florals, and fixing my bouquets. cylee hand made everything from my save the dates, invites, seating chart, bar signs, everything!!! she even helped my maid of honor with my wedding shower. i have told everyone in my life, and now i’ll tell all of you who are stalking her page and reading her reviews, cylee is the best decision i made throughout the process of getting married (besides my husband, of course). she knew what i wanted before i did, she knew what vendors to say no to, what vendors to show me, and even had special insights and relationships with each vendor. fitting her into our budget actually ended up saving us money due to her expertise in being able to make every dream i had come true. she is a true gift to the wedding industry and to this world. our wedding night was more perfect than we ever imagined, and none of it would have been possible without cylee.

Working with Cylee was nothing short of amazing! She is super kind, incredibly helpful, and had incredible energy. You can just see her passion for what she does. She was very organized and her strong attention to detail really helped us to capture some great moments throughout the day and kept everything running smoothly. Where do I even start?! Cylee has been the absolute PERFECT wedding planner from beginning to even after the wedding. she helped us save a ton of and got us so many deals. We had the full planning package and boy did she not disappoint! She was there for every bridal melt down, tears shed, & all the happiness of planning a wedding. We had quite a few issues & hiccups with other vendors & Cylee helped save the day with everything! My mua/hair vendors no showed us day of the wedding and Cylee managed to get FOUR vendors morning of the wedding! And without me (the bride) knowing anything was wrong. She is extremely professional and makes sure every detail is PERFECT for your wedding day. If it wasn’t for Cylee, idk how I would’ve survived my wedding. I have only nice things to say about Cylee and I absolutely 10000% percent recommend her as a wedding planner! I would recommend any bride have a planner, but Cylee specifically will make sure everything is perfect. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so special

We LOVED working with Cylee to plan our wedding! She jumped in after a cancelled destination wedding and helped us turn our vision into a reality down in Central Illinois. Her ability to turn any difficult situation into only a small bump in the road while keeping her cool kept me sane during the last few months of planning. She is a dream to know and to have by your side on your big day! We would have been lost without her!
