Working with Events By Michelle was such a wonderful experience. Their communication was always timely, intimate, and fun throughout the entire planning process. The attention to detail in their work was incredible - they captured every single moment of our special day so that my husband and I could relive it and experience things we couldn't be a part of in the moment. The footage they provided was immediate, and they were so flexible and kind in accommodating all of our needs. The Events by Michelle team helped make our wedding day smooth and stress free. From our initial consultation with Michelle, we knew we would be taken care of on our wedding day. We opted for the wedding management package which was perfect for us. We did the bulk of the planning and our lead planner, Steph, came in about 2 months before and made sure everything was executed perfectly! Steph is warm, funny, and ensured that everything got done leading up to the wedding! (She even jumped a fence for us!) I could not imagine having a different person to help us execute our perfect day. As a people pleaser, my first instinct was "how do I make her job easier?" She recognized that in me and reassured and reminded me that she was there to make my day easier. Knowing someone was in our corner all day helped melt the wedding day stress away. Events by Michelle's wedding management package was perfect for us as we were looking for excellent service at a reasonable price. I would recommend the Events by Michelle team, and specifically Steph, to any of my friends and family that are getting married!

I have received over 1,000 images/videos in content, and still have even more coming! What’s crazy is half the time, we didn’t notice Katelyn there, but she still somehow captured every moment! I love that she wasn’t in our faces or constantly bothering us for photos/videos. This way, we were able to enjoy every aspect of our day! Katelyn truly embodied what being “behind the scenes” means! She was also always there when someone did want to ask for a photo, and always obliged, even when my mom was constantly asking her LOL. We got our raw footage back within 48 hours, and most of it after less than 24 hours. We are so grateful for Katelyn capturing all of our special moments!

Events By Michelle was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. They had great communication throughout the entire planning process, always responding promptly to our questions and providing helpful guidance. Their attention to detail and exceptional planning resulted in an amazing wedding day. When our charcuterie vendor didn't show up, the Events By Michelle team quickly put together a beautiful charcuterie board from scratch to ensure our guests were fed during cocktail hour. We were blown away by their quick thinking and problem-solving abilities. Overall, Events By Michelle exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend them to any couple planning their special day.

“Month-of” or “Day-of” coordination is such a common name in the wedding industry, but we truly believe that these packages are a misnomer. We believe achieving a well-organized wedding requires more communication than just jumping in on the day of the wedding or a few weeks before. Events By Michelle’s primary service is Wedding Day Management (day of coordination) begins 4-6 weeks prior to your wedding day.

This is our most frequently asked question! Many coordinators have different boundaries when it comes to setting up and tearing down. Your lead coordinator and assistant are more than happy to assist with both setting up and tearing down. Our goal is to make your wedding as smooth as possible, and 99% of the time, that typically means having not just the two of us assist with all of the set up and tear down! We are happy to walk you through the best and most efficient way for these things to happen during our meeting. So, if we do have to step away to take care of something else, your decor is still in capable hands.

The wedding venue coordinator vs outside wedding coordinator debate is a tricky one, especially as many more venues now come with a day-of coordinator. One thing to keep in mind is that a venue day-of coordinator does not work for you. Their priority is the workings of the venue, and many venue coordinators do not have prior wedding coordination experience outside of the venue. Many venue day-of coordinators in the area have not known how to create a professional wedding timeline without an online template. This shows that they are not trained professionals, and "became" day-of coordinators when they were hired at the venue.

Pending your preferred coordinator is available, you can absolutely have a preference. Just state your preferred coordinator in your inquiry form! The majority of the time, your lead coordinator simply depends on availability!
