I’m Katie Tinker, Owner of Wildflowers Elegant Events. I am the wife of a Wildland Firefighter and a mama to two precious little boys & a furbaby who have stolen my heart forever. I fell in love with wedding/event planning while planning my own wedding 7 years ago. While most feel event planning to be stressful and full of anxiety I find it to be exciting and fulfilling. I am looking forward to working with you to bring your event dreams to life. And in doing that, it is my mission to make it easy, stress free, fun and an exciting journey for you.

I want to help create this to be a fun process for you and when you look back on wedding planning I promise you won’t frown about it. I have open communication with my clients from time of booking, text, call, email me! Let's not wait for the 30, 90 days to get here for you to get to know me! Working with Katie from Wildflowers Elegant Events was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From day one, she brought incredible organization, calm energy, and genuine care that made the entire planning process feel manageable. Katie was always five steps ahead, catching details and guiding us through every decision with so much thoughtfulness. On the wedding weekend, she was an absolute superstar. The timeline ran flawlessly, vendors were managed seamlessly, and every space looked exactly how we envisioned it—if not better. We were able to be fully present with our guests because we knew Katie had everything handled. Multiple people told us it was the smoothest, most beautifully orchestrated wedding they’d ever attended, and that is 100% thanks to her. We had to plan and execute a rain plan last minute and she worked to coordinate vendors to make sure everything was rearranged and we really could not have accomplished that without her. We are so grateful to have had Katie on our team and would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Book Katie and you won’t regret it! She is one of the most organized people I’ve ever met (and that’s coming from someone who is type-a) and will ensure that everything goes smoothly and take all the stress off your shoulders on the big day. To top it off, she is an absolute delight and such a gem to work with. If you want to enjoy your special day, then hire Katie! Cannot recommend her enough!

Hiring Katie was THE BEST wedding planning decision we made! When we started planning our wedding, I really thought I was going to do everything myself (LOL). We found our venue first and they told us that they require at least a day of coordinator. After communicating with the venue for a bit we soon realized why, and after trying to do everything myself and realizing that was insane, I am SO grateful that we hired a coordinator and even more grateful that it was Katie. I found Katie on Zola and from our first virtual meeting with her we knew that she was the perfect person to help with our wedding! Katie was incredibly warm & friendly, super detail oriented, and I could immediately tell that she is very experienced in her craft. Katie starts working with you 12 weeks before the wedding & allows unlimited communication which I think is quite rare for coordinators but enables you to build a connection with her. Anything we needed help with, Katie was there to advise us along the way! At our venue walk-through Katie spotted some more red flags from our venue and quietly noted them, reassuring us that she would prepare and make sure everything went smoothly the day of. She made us feel so at ease knowing our wedding day was in her hands. During the planning process she helped with everything from reading our venue contract, ensuring they had the correct numbers for tables/chairs/linens, helping us with design details like linen colors and chair styles, answering all of our questions about how many songs we need for the ceremony, how long songs/speeches should be, etc. She gave us some really special & personal design ideas like having custom Mr & Mrs mugs made for our coffee at the reception since my husband and I don’t drink. She even introduced us to our photographer/videographer who was also incredible and so our style. Throughout the whole process she really got to know us and you can just tell she really cares about her couples and absolutely loves what she does. A few weeks before the wedding, Katie has you fill out a decor document where you put photos and describe each item you are bringing and where/how you would like it set up. Our document ended up being 26 pages long LOL. I had a very specific vision for my wedding day & Katie and her team executed it PERFECTLY!!! They were so sweet and even noticed that it was a bit windy of a day so they waited until the last moment to put out a special vase from my grandparents wedding to ensure that nothing happened to it. Just the thought and care and attention to detail from Katie and her team is unmatched. In addition to the setup, Katie coordinated the entire day, wrangling our families for the photos, ensuring everything with the venue ran smoothly, and even dealing with one of our other vendors who was incredibly difficult to work with (who we regretfully hired on our own - NOT a vendor recommend by Katie) and she handled it like a professional and a mom! At the end of the night, Katie and her team broke down and packed up all of our decor for us, again taking so much care to make sure that any of our delicate, special pieces were well taken care of. Our wedding day was genuinely the best day of our lives, much thanks to Katie and her team! At the end of the night I actually started feeling post wedding depression because I knew that our time with Katie as our wedding coordinator was coming to a close LOL. HIRE KATIE! You will absolutely not regret it. She is THE BEST.

Katie was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was easy, responsive, and thoughtful, putting us at ease throughout the entire planning process. She was incredibly organized, straightforward, and communicative, ensuring that every detail was taken care of so we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of. Thanks to her and her assistant’s help, our wedding day went off without a hitch and was completely stress-free - we were able to simply enjoy the moment and celebrate our love with our family and friends. Not only did we have a great time working with her, all the vendors we talked to loved her! She really went above and beyond our expectations.
