About this venue
The Peace Garden features hardy alpine plants and dwarf conifers and begins blooming in mid-April. The Annual/Perennial peaks in mid-June and the Rose Garden typically begins blooming in mid-June and lasts until early October. Butterflies and hummingbirds can be seen throughout the summer. For questions and more information on the venue and it's availability, please call the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board's customer service number and ask to speak with Evan VanderZiel in the permits department. Adjacent to Lake Harriet. Pay lot across the street from the fountain. Free parking in surrounding neighborhood. Parking fees are not included in the cost of a wedding permit. Permits are issued for ceremonies only. Food and receptions are not allowed at ceremony sites.
