Our indoor wedding reception location is highlighted by a lovely double-faced fireplace, traditional bar area, and magnificent panoramic views, while our spectacular outdoor terrace features an incomparable garden-like setting. Amazing!
From the moment we first reached out to Sea Cliff Manor, the team was consistently communicative, considerate, and made us feel like their top priority. The venue itself was incredibly versatile, with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces that allowed us to customize our wedding day exactly how we envisioned. Josh, the maitre d', and Judy, our bridal attendant, were both incredibly attentive and helpful, ensuring the entire day ran smoothly. And the food - wow! Our guests are still raving about the delicious, high-quality cuisine. We had an amazing experience at Sea Cliff Manor and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a flexible, scenic, and personalized wedding venue.
Mixed feelings, would recommend but with caveats
We have mixed feelings about our experience with SCM (wedding mid-May 2025, booked in 2023). We chose SCM because of the outdoor area, location and because we wanted to support a local business. This is as fair as we could be: CONS: We had several issues with SCM leading up to the wedding, mainly concerning things we discussed during the tour, but that later we were told that we had misunderstood them or that it wasn’t really like X, Y or Z. For example: food tasting, what happens when you don’t meet your minimum guest count, length of cocktail hour, etc. We toured several venues and took copious notes of everything on their respective folders, so to hear that both of us had misunderstood or misinterpreted issues that we considered to be vital for our wedding (eg, food tasting and minimum guest count) was enraging. Everything got worked out in the end, but it took several back and forth emails and calls from us and from our amazing wedding coordinator to iron things out. My own advice would be to write an email to SCM recapping the information you are provided with during the tour with all details you could possibly think of, immediately after the tour. We didn’t do this because we didn’t think we would need it – we regret it. PROS: Everything on the day of the wedding went well, staff was attentive, pleasant, efficient; it was like clockwork. Huge shout out to Sam, who is so nice and made the best cocktails. Ian was also very pleasant and made sure everything went smooth. Weather was gorgeous so we had the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, just like we wanted. Food was overall very good (except for the passed desserts, which were a bit of a letdown). We brought our own champagne, wine and coffee and were not charged additional fees. We wanted a disco ball for the dance floor and they allowed our DJ to install one, which was amazing and we are so grateful for that.
Sea Cliff Manor is amazing
Ian and the team at Sea Cliff Manor were an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From our very first meeting, Ian's friendly and supportive communication style made me feel at ease, and he promptly responded to all my questions - no matter how small - in the months leading up to our big day. The venue itself is classic elegance. The venue overlooks the LI sound and is simply breathtaking. The food was simply incredible, earning rave reviews from our guests. Ian and his staff attended to every last detail, ensuring everything flowed smoothly so my husband and I could simply relax and soak in every magical moment. I cannot recommend Sea Cliff Manor highly enough for couples seeking a fairytale wedding in a breathtaking waterfront setting with a top-notch team supporting you every step of the way.

You read many times that the SCM staff is absolutely incredible, and there is nothing more true! Ian is one of the kindest, caring, most thoughtful and passionate individuals I’ve ever met. From our finals meeting, we clicked and he has done absolutely anything he can to be sure we would have a special day. From setting up decor, to the ceremony running exactly on time, to encouraging guests to play our games and sign our guest book…. he does it all. Let me tell you from someone who was constantly on the fence about getting a DOC - you won’t need one with Ian. At least from the second you arrive at Sea Cliff. He wants to work with you to be sure it is a special day for you!! Camille was fabulous, bustling me all night, keeping us fed, reminding us to “mangia” Every server and bartender we came across was super personable and friendly. It was truly the happiest day of our lives!! They are the whole package. Responsive, caring and the kindest most genuine people and is so refreshing after touring so many other LI Venues that do not show the same level of care. You will not regret booking with Sea Cliff!!
