PQ Farm Flowers creates romantic, whimsical, and lush designs, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and locally grown, seasonal flowers. My designs often have a natural, garden-style feel that is free-flowing and organic. I aim for designs that look "gathered from nature, not overly structured." I collaborate with couples to create a unique vision, suited for an elegant classic garden style, minimalist, coastal, or even moody styles. The overarching vibe is personal, meaningful, and aesthetically beautiful.

My Secret Garden LLC is a boutique floral design and event styling studio based in Connecticut area (we travel too!). Our studio is run by Ulyana and Yuliya Lyalka, a sister duo. Ulya is the principal designer while Yuliya supports us in onsite events. Flowers are our love language and a medium with which we use to express emotions and celebrate meaningful life moments. In our studio, we harmonize rooted principles of floristry with a modern-day aesthetic that is both natural and playful. ​

Forever a lover of nature, I draw inspiration from the natural world and am most at peace and at home among the plants and trees. I love spending time outdoors, hiking with my dog, and working in my garden growing food and flowers. I have a life long passion for art and design and have worked as an artist for much of my life. In 2013 I found myself fusing my love for art and flowers when I began working in floral design. I quickly fell in love with the ritual of creating with fresh florals. In the years since, I've had the opportunity to hone my skills and style and provide unique and gorgeous designs for some wonderful couples.

Our name, The Flowr Studio, comes from the idea of flow state, that immersive place of focus where time just seems to kind of disappear. The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).
