There are 3 components to the rental of Appleford: you have the use of the inside of the estate, use of the tented terrace, and access to the gardens. You and your guests are welcome to roam the gardens and take pictures in the alee of trees, boxwoods, roses garden, walled garden, and private medallion garden. This venue is for people who love the rustic feel of a ship and have a vision! Our standing capacity is 150 people including staff and crew. We are located near the Independence Seaport Museum at Penn's Landing, so check us out anytime. In the winter, the ship has a cover so it may look a little different. We run our events season typically from May to late October but out calendar fills up pretty fast. Our beloved ship is best used for engagement parties, welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, and other intimate events.
