To save, avoid anything that needs to be installed day-of and stick to “wear and carry.” This means the florist simply drops off the arrangements (bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc.) at your venue for you to place yourselves. Something like a ceremony arch, by contrast, requires multiple people to set up and take down on site, often with a service charge of up to 40%. Over the next 48 hours, Luis kept in constant contact with me about the progress of the shipment. I know I was on the phone for at least 6 hours with this ordeal, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had spent about 15 hours talking to UPS, Fedex, florists, and customs to get me my flowers. He made me feel calm and taken care of. Everyone was coming to me with questions and concerns the entire wedding week, and I can't express how it felt to have someone have my back, and take an extremely big tasks off my plate. They break down the process and steps, making it super easy, almost to the point that it doesn’t feel real. To start, you meet with a floral consultant where you talk through your wedding details, the vibe you’re going for, the general needs, etc. Then they walk you through a list of various wedding floral options: bouquets, table arrangements, signage florals, ceremony florals, etc., and you start to narrow down what you want. In each section, they have a grouping of photos, and you can either select something from that or ask for more options. You can also tweak what they have shown (I picked florals that had eucalyptus in them and requested everything be switched to ruscus). After that, you have a while to go back in and adjust until a deadline, but they accommodated some last-minute adds I had as well. Our consultant was Sophia, and she was super responsive and wonderful to work with. “It’s been one month since our wedding and every day I go back to how absolutely beautiful the day was. Liz and her team were the central part of that. With a December winter wedding, many of the traditional floral options were not applicable, but with Liz's guidance, we realized very quickly that just because most flowers may not be in season, doesn't mean that it is still not an absolutely beautiful time of year. Liz and her team effortlessly draped beautiful garland throughout our venue, transformed the central staircase into something out of a storybook, and made a winter arch piece that it still hanging on our front porch as a stunning winter decoration. It was dotted with cinnamon sticks, and ornaments, and dried orange peels in a way that we could never have thought of. It was so creative and magical and made it clear that Liz had seen our vision and expanded on it in such an incredible way. Additionally, when Liz walked in with the bridal bouquets, everyone could not stop admiring and obsessing over them.
