I started my photography career back in 2010 and have captured hundreds of stories over the years. I found my true passion in intimate weddings and elopements in 2016 when I rode in a chairlift to the top of a mountain to document a small ceremony in the company of 50 of their closest family and friends, their dogs, and an aged bottle of scotch that acted as a unity candle. From that moment I decided to specialize in capturing intimate weddings and elopements in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan!

You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!

So there’s no “I” in team right?! While Captured Couture is the product of years of hard work that I built from the ground up. I have an amazing team because sometimes takes more than just me. For larger events or on occasions when I am already booked one of my team members will gladly assist with your event.
