Cooking and creating meals for others has been my passion for as long as I can remember. My dream began watching food network instead of cartoons as a small child and finding myself inspired to pursue a career in culinary arts. Catering By Tracy was formed in 2007 in Charlotte, NC and exploded when we moved to Lake Norman in 2011. Weddings are our top catering event, along with corporate business, vacation rentals, birthdays, all events you are needing food for. We cook for 12 and go up to 500 Guests?? We have commercial cookers that allow us to cook 20 pork butts, 40 whole chickens, 25 beef butts, 30 racks of ribs, 200 chicken wings All At Once!!!!!!!! We know how to Cook For An Army!!! Chef Tara is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park NY. She has lifelong experience & was raised in the food industry. Growing up in the family's restaurants and summer resort businesses gives her well rounded expertise in both front & back of the house. Chef is well versed in many international cuisine styles and personally speaks to each client to create a custom menu for your wedding/event. Chef does not offer a limited list of items to chose from or a limited option of packages for catering. Each event and menu is unique. I have been in love with all things entertaining since I planned my first birthday party at the age of 5! After spending over 15 year perfecting my craft in various areas of the special events industry, I decided to pursue a lifelong passion and attend culinary school. In March of 2019 I graduated from the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York focusing on health supportive cuisine.
