Raised in Ohio, Joey moved to California twenty-five years ago with his wife whom he married six months earlier. I'm a portrait photographer capturing love & beauty in sunny southern California & beyond. I believe being able to freeze a moment in time to look back on and cherish again is such a beautiful gift. As a kid, my family would host gatherings at home often, and I would pause and blink my eyes really hard trying to take a “photo” in my mind during the fun. Haha :) I never wanted the time spent with loved ones to end. In college, when I tried searching for what I wanted to study and become, I was reminded of those memories - the things that brought great elation, the things that felt like home.
