Seven Ponds Farm is the first and only venue that my fiance and I toured. We weren't even set on getting married within the next year, but we happened to find Seven Ponds online and figured we would tour. We fell in love immediately. We knew we wanted a few things out of whatever space we found: 1) somewhere we could have a weekend event with onsite accommodations, 2) good food and beverage, and 3) beautiful scenery. Seven Ponds was all of this and more. They have streamlined the planning process so that you truly do not need a wedding planner, and with food and beverage being included in the package, it's just that much less to plan. We got to the venue on Thursday and were able to enjoy the house, swim in the pond, and prep the space at our leisure. The day of, everything went seamlessly thanks to their stellar team of coordinators and staff. Guests are still telling me what a perfect day it was. Min and Morten (the owners) are so kind and are genuinely invested in making sure you are happy with everything. Book this venue, I promise you will not regret it!!

We held our wedding at Retreat Farm and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, this venue exceeded our expectations in every way. Our weekend began with a field day celebration the day before the wedding. Farmhouse Square was perfect for this, and the staff went above and beyond to help us organize food stations and arrange picnic tables. The staff made themselves available for the entire day and were friendly to our guests which helped set the tone for the entire weekend. Working with Samantha, the venue coordinator, made the planning process so much easier. She was incredibly communicative and patiently answered about a million questions from us. We were one of their Retreat Farm’s first weddings, so there were a few minor administrative hiccups along the way, but I have complete confidence these will be smoothed out for future couples. Samantha’s responsiveness and helpfulness were invaluable. On our wedding day, rain was in the forecast which was very stressful for us leading up to the ceremony which was slated to be held outdoors. We prepared to hold the ceremony inside the barn, which would have been beautiful in its own right, but then, the rain ended up clearing at the last second. Thankfully, the incredible staff had already set up the chairs and arch and managed to move everything back outside within half an hour (literally wiping down every single chair as fast as they could). We ended up with the most breathtaking outdoor ceremony as the clouds parted and the sun literally shone down on us. It was pure magic, and the staff's quick work made it possible. Additionally, the venue's beautiful outdoor spaces provided awesome backdrops for photos so we’re glad we were able to take advantage of them. One of the most unique and memorable aspects of Retreat Farm is the farm animals. We surprised our guests with a surprise donkey ring bearer (that the barn manager, Felipe, took the time to practice walking the aisle with), and during cocktail hour, the open barn allowed guests to interact closely with all the animals. This was hands-down one of the highlights that our guests are still talking about—the pictures that we saw everyone take were priceless. Every single person who works at Retreat Farm was exceptionally kind and professional. From the bartenders who handled the bar service beautifully (and even accommodated our requests for specific drinks on the menu) to the staff directing guests and everyone in between—the team made us feel so well taken care of. It's worth noting that this is more of a DIY venue where you bring your own decorations and coordinate most vendors. We loved this because it allowed us to truly make the wedding our own and put our personal stamp on every detail but recognize that this may not be for everyone. We highly recommend Retreat Farm for couples looking for a unique, beautiful, and flexible venue with character, charm, and the most wonderful staff (and also animals!)

My wife & I had the privilege to get married surrounded by our friends & family at the beautiful Montague Retreat Center in June of 2024. There’s a seemingly endless list of what drew us to MRC, but some key features to highlight: - Incredibly beautiful indoor & outdoor spaces - Comfortable, spacious, and accessible on-site lodging options - Flexible weekend buyout, enabling us to bring all of our ideas to life without much restriction or hurdles - Wheelhouse Catering: some of the best wedding food we’ve ever tasted in our lives - All of Montague staff, especially Jason Jason deserves his own dedicated review, but from the planning stages all the way through until the end of our weekend, Jason made himself available and ready to help. Jason referred several our vendors that made our day go off without a hitch, all of whom brought creative and personal touches that made our day so special. He consistently went above and beyond day of as well, from catching decorations that needed to be put out, to being hands-on assisting guests that needed extra help, and facilitating vendors to ensure everything was in its right place. His knowledge and general presence brought a calming energy that really helped us feel at home at MRC. For our wedding weekend (170 guests), we really took advantage of all we could at MRC. We observed first hand and heard from guests after our wedding that they felt they had plenty of space to enjoy themselves comfortably through the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. With the full weekend rented, we used every square inch that the venue offered: - Friday: Portable Brick Oven Pizza in front of the Great Hall - Saturday AM: family provided breakfast buffet near the dining tent - Ceremony: Outdoor up on the ceremony ring - Cocktail Hour: Custom Poetry and plenty of activities all around the barn - Reception: Live band with stage lighting & sound; DJ later in the evening - Saturday Night: Late night fire pit & snacks for the wedding party - Sunday AM: Bagel sandwiches from Tandem Bagel in the lower level of the barn We can’t stress enough how perfect our weekend was at MRC. Montague Retreat Center will always hold a special place in our hearts, as it left a lasting impact on not only us, but our friends and family as well. At the end of our wedding weekend, many of our family members suggested that we rent out the space for a night every few years for a recurring big family bash. We may have to do just that!

From beginning to end, our experience at Farm Road Estate was absolute perfection. Even the planning process was enjoyable thanks to Kelly and her incredible team, who went above and beyond every step of the way. From setting up Guitar Hero in the speakeasy for our welcome party, to making sure our grandmas walked down the aisle smoothly, to making sure we were always fed during every little gap of the day—the attention to detail and genuine care were unmatched. The venue itself is breathtaking, and every guest couldn’t stop raving about how comfortable the rooms and bedding were. And the food… wow. I had friends telling me they literally licked their plates (politely, of course). Everything was phenomenal. It truly felt like we had all our loved ones together for the most beautiful sleepaway weekend, eating, drinking, laughing, and celebrating. We wish we could go back and relive it all over again. Hearing people talk about our wedding gives us the chance to do just that, and it fills our hearts every single time. To Kelly, Mike (the Guitar Hero master), Lauren, Giselle, Chef Joe, Theresa, Steven, Meg, and every single staff member who worked tirelessly to make our weekend so special. Additional accommodations include a farm house with four more bedrooms! The 2500 square foot barn is renovated to perfection with classy gold lighting features, a built in bar and large picture windows. Just outside the barn is ample land for a beautiful ceremony set up, an outdoor patio for cocktail hour and a covered pavilion. There is a great security in knowing you have a rain plan here. All of the event spaces include tables and chairs!

The Colonial Hotel was the perfect place to host our wedding. We stayed over the night before and got ready there the morning of, and had our cocktail hour and reception under the tent. From the first email, Mary was beyond helpful and communicative. She made the entire process as smooth as possible. I always felt like she had it under control! She even let us drop off our decor a couple weeks in advance, and then her and her team handled all of the setup. Although I was extremely involved in the planning during my engagement, Mary made it easy to enjoy the day and forget about all of the little things. The convenience of the Colonial Grille made it easy to continue on to our after party. The food was great and so were the drinks! The best part was finishing pictures and immediately having Mary deliver my new husband & I our signature cocktails without having to ask. Their partnership with Gerardos also made the cake process extremely easy. Would 10000000% recommend working with Mary & her team for your big day!

Harrington Farm was the first venue my husband and I toured. From that moment on, we found ourselves comparing every other venue that we toured to Harrington Farm- spoiler alert, none of them came even close to checking all of the same boxes. Harrington Farm’s all-inclusive package is a no-brainer: ceremony & reception venue with a massive dinner menu, individualized day-of planning, cake (with 2 bakers to choose from), coffee bar, AND a 5-hour open bar?! Count us in! The team at Harrington Farm was nothing short of incredible. From day one, Lauryn took care of making sure that all of our planning went smoothly, answered all of our (many) questions, and constantly secured our trust in Harrington Farm with handling our big day. On the actual day, Jess was the best bridal attendant I ever could have asked for. She made sure each and every one of our needs were met all night long. In addition to all of the other perks, the food at Harrington Farm is beyond amazing (you can’t say that about most venues). We especially loved the option to add the smoker to our menu items! We have received (and continue to receive) numerous compliments on our choice in wedding venue and we have to agree. If you want your big day to be 100% magical, you absolutely must choose Harrington Farm.

We had an absolutely perfect day at Cricket Creek. We hosted our ceremony up in the pasture and our cocktail hour down and around the barn. The possibilities were endless and we were able to shape the space and use it exactly how we wanted. Working with Jessi made that easy because she was always there to give us advice and make sure all our bases were covered and we weren’t missing anything important. We decided to go to an indoor location for our reception because we knew it would get cold at night in late October, but if we were there at a warmer time, the Barn would also be an amazing spot for a reception. Seamless Layout & Guest Comfort The layout is flawless. From the bridal suite, I watched the ceremony setup unfold and saw guests trickling in. Everything is steps away—the farthest guest room is under a two-minute walk to the ceremony. From there, it's a short, scenic stroll to the terrace and tent for the reception, all set against gorgeous marble architecture. One overlooked wedding detail? Bathrooms. The mansion has elegant restrooms nearby, and with guests staying on-site, they could use their rooms—so no bathroom lines! Need to grab a jacket, touch up makeup, or charge your phone? They are transparent, organized, and truly want you to have the best day of your life. A special shoutout to Meesha, who made wedding planning effortless. She was incredibly responsive, unbelievably organized, and guided us through everything. I had zero worries on my wedding day because I knew Meesha had it handled. That level of trust is priceless. Final Thoughts I don’t know any other brides who felt this relaxed and confident on their wedding day. That alone is a reason to book the Wilburton. If you’re considering it—DO IT. You won’t find a more stunning, welcoming, or well-run venue anywhere.

This venue is beautiful and it’s great that you can do the ceremony and reception at this location. The event coordinator was very quick to respond to my emails and was very gracious and made a few accommodations for us. It can be pricey to get married here because they will charge you for all of the little add ons. There was miscommunication when it came to booking rooms at the hotel but they are quick to try to make things right!

My husband and I got married at Lake Shore Village Resort in May 2025, and it was the wedding weekend of our dreams. If you want a venue where everyone can stay together, relax, and celebrate in one beautiful lakeside location, LSVR is it. We wanted a camp-style but elevated experience, and LSVR delivered beyond expectations. Marissa, our coordinator, was amazing: organized, calm, and on top of every detail. Even when rain forced us to move our ceremony into the tent (along with all the other May/June Saturday brides in New England), she and the team handled it flawlessly and the ceremony and reception ended up feeling incredibly intimate and special. We had 130 guests on-site for three days of pickleball tournaments, a pizza welcome party, kayaking, volleyball, and an after-party bonfire (thanks to Leif, who kept the fire going all night). The farewell pancake breakfast hosted by Michael and his wife was the perfect ending to the weekend. We cannot recommend this venue or team enough. Our guests are still talking about it and so are we. Thank you Marissa and LSVR!! We can't wait to come back one day!

We had such an amazing weekend at Camp Lenox - cannot thank the Rich, Leslie, and the rest of the staff enough. They made the weekend about as stress-free as we could have hoped - even despite the tornado warning on Saturday! Our guests had an amazing time from start to finish, and would not have been possible without lots of help. From putting together table arrangements, setting up campfires on 3 consecutive nights, making sure everyone got to their cabins and were settled in, having food prepared for 100 guests from Friday-Sunday, guiding hikes, coordinating all the vendors, supervising beer olympics, etc etc etc -- THANK YOU!!!!!!!

We had the most perfect wedding day at the Herb Lyceum. When we got engaged we knew we wanted a smaller, more intimate wedding and struggled to find a venue that welcomed smaller events. I came across The Herb Lyceum on Instagram and knew that this was the space for us. We held our wedding in the sunken garden, cocktail hour on the lawn and dinner in the greenhouse. The space was magical. They have a beautiful bar and cocktail hour set up. The greenhouse was exactly how we envisioned our day to look like. We received several comments that our wedding had the best food and cocktails of any wedding guests had been to. We are so grateful to the Herb Lyceum team for making our day so special. My now husband and I had an amazing experience at Stonebridge! The venue is beautiful and Halley was wonderful. Very friendly, wicked quick with communication, and super thoughtful. She help me pick out colors and center pieces (which were perfect!) , that was really helpful and took all that stress off me. We had a pretty small wedding, about 20 people, and everyone had an amazing time. The staff was very professional and friendly. The chef was helpful and understanding of a couple of our picky eaters, both him and Halley worked with us to make sure everyone had something to eat that they like. Speaking of food, the food was awesome, even my husbands Italian grandfather loved it! I wouldn't have changed anything about that day 10/10 would recommend.
