Are you looking for more than just a bartender for your special event? Blushing Gypsy is it! I specialize in beverage service but can do so much more than that! I barista, create fun mocktails and specialty cocktails. I am passionate about making sure my couple's special day is exactly what they envision as far as beverage service goes. I work some amazing wedding vendors in our area and am always happy to recommend other vendors.
I am Kristin, owner of Blushing Gypsy Events. Looking for a fun and knowledgeable bartending service that serves responsibly and ensures guest safety? Then Blushing Gypsy Events is the bar service for your event! I specialize in fun creative cocktails and work one on one with my couples to ensure their bar service is exactly what they picture. Blushing Gypsy will help create fun signature drinks, calculate your alcohol needs and work with you to create bar menus. We are licensed and have full Liquor Liability Insurance. Alcohol not really your thing? We got you covered. I am also a barista and can provide a coffee bar.

BRIDES- DO NOT HIRE!!!
Kristin ruined my wedding. No other way to say it. She over promised and under delivered. My mom and I flew to Tennessee to meet with her in person since we were from out of state-that was in June. We told her everything we wanted for my wedding. She assured me that she had everything under control and that my “40 person wedding was nothing”. She said that she does events for hundreds of people all the time and some of her clients even want specific items imported from other countries and she’s able to get them last minute. Welp….that was not the case for me. She told me I could contact her day or night, yet she never answered my texts or phone calls or my moms. I would have to text her several times to get an answer out of her. I tried to get ahold of her in the weeks heading up to my wedding to confirm everything, but I couldn’t. 3 days before we left Florida to drive up to Tennessee for my wedding she finally contacted me. She informed me that she didn’t have the decor that was promised for my wedding and that it was “too late to get it now”. She told me I should have told her sooner…I told her in JUNE in person when we flew up. My mom and I had to scramble and spend 100s on decor at the last second. I ordered specialty table cloths through Kirstin for my reception. I asked her what type of tables were at the venue since she told me she does weddings there “all the time”. She assured me they were all round. When we arrived, they were all rectangular tables and only 4 round tables. My family had to drive hours to Sam’s club and pay 100s yet again to purchase additional tables. She was supposed to be at my venue the day before my wedding for our rehearsal-she didn’t show up. She suddenly had to be out of town and sent the DJ instead to do our rehearsal. (The DJ was wonderful, by the way). Day of the wedding comes, Kristin told me she would be at the venue at 8 to set everything up since it would take 4-5 hours. She didn’t arrive until 10!! She also didn’t text or call to say she would be late. I had to call her and ask her where she was. Again she had more excuses as to why she was late. I spoke to Kristin in June about a light installation I wanted at my reception. I will attach a photo of the reference photo I sent to her 3 separate times to confirm that was what I would be getting. She said yes and collected my 500 payment to do it. I look out side and I see that 5 strings of lights have been hung….that’s it. I asked her where the rest of the lights were and she said she didn’t have any more. In the middle of getting my make up done I cried and begged her to go to the store and get more lights to hang, that was the one thing I really wanted at my wedding and she already messed up so much. She refused to go to the store which was 20 mins away. My family even offered to go buy more lights and she refused to hang them. To top everything off, as she was lining everyone up to walk down the aisle she called my fiancé and wedding party be the wrong names. When my fiance told her that wasn’t their names, she said that I was the one who sent her those names so it was my fault. I guess I suddenly forgot my fiance and entire families names and made up new ones for them. (Review cont in photos)

Our team worked extremely hard to execute the details of your day and it’s unfortunate that you’ve chosen to portray the experience in this way. We want to clarify a few key points for accuracy: • Timeline & Arrival: Your approved event timeline clearly listed our arrival time as 10:00 AM, not 8:00 AM. Our team arrived on time and completed setup prior to the start of your ceremony. • Decor Credit: As outlined in your signed contract, your package included a $500 décor credit, not full décor design or rental coverage. We provided items within that allowance and communicated that additional requests would require further payment or sourcing by the client. • Lighting Installation: The light installation matched the number of strands covered by the $500 payment. Additional materials could have been added if purchased or supplied, but leaving the venue mid-setup to shop was not feasible given the wedding schedule and our duties. • Communication: While there were periods of delayed response due to a high event season, every detail discussed during planning was addressed and confirmed prior to your day. We remained in contact in the week leading up to the event to ensure all contracted items were covered. • Professionalism: We take ownership that attire could have been more formal, though it in no way affected the quality of service or setup provided. We recognize that planning a wedding from out of state can be stressful, and we truly did everything within our power to make your day go as smoothly as possible. Blushing Gypsy Events was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the moment I reached out, they answered my questions quickly and were always happy to offer additional assistance. Not to mention the sweetest person to talk to!! On the day of the wedding, the bartender from Blushing Gypsy showed up on time and was a huge hit with all of our guests. They were so kind and helpful, continuously making sure everyone had a drink and talking it up with our guests, who loved it. Blushing Gypsy was amazing and truly contributed to making our special day perfect. I will recommend her to anyone and everyone!
