That said, we’re sorry to hear parts of the process felt more time-consuming or confusing than expected. Our goal is always to make DIY wedding flowers as approachable and enjoyable as possible, so we want to address a few points you raised. For larger orders, processing can indeed take several hours (especially for first-time DIYers) which is why we provide a detailed 55-page guide that walks through the entire process from months out all the way to unboxing and arranging. We also include links to over 55 free video tutorials that cover everything from conditioning to design techniques. We’d love to know if there are ways we can make those resources easier to find or more helpful for couples like you. Regarding substitutions, our goal is always to deliver the freshest, highest-quality blooms available. Because we partner with regional wholesalers for seasonality and quality, substitutions can happen at the time of fulfillment, often very early in the morning, to ensure flowers meet our standards. We note this in our Terms of Service, but we understand how frustrating it can feel not to be notified ahead of time and will explore ways to better communicate these changes in the future. Lastly, we appreciate your note about labeling and communication during the waiting period. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’ll be looking into how we can better set expectations, streamline the labeling process, and provide clearer updates between order and delivery.
