Aficial Events is a small wedding planning business. I offer 2-Month Coordination + Day-of Services, Partial and Full Event Planning. I specialize in creating a relaxed, cool, and enjoyable wedding day filled with unique elements that tell the story of the couple. I love working with individuals with a clear yet flexible vision and are chill, fun, and non-traditional!
I'm cool, calm, fun, and non-traditional in life and when it comes to wedding planning and day-of coordination. I'm a team player and strive in wedding environments where I use our built timeline as a guide to move swiftly through the day. I take things one step at a time when things veer from our timeline, and take pride in being clam and collected when dealing with those surprises. I am confident in the work that I do and work well with couples that share a similar vibe. :)

The GOAT
My husband and I didn’t know when we first started wedding planning that we would end up needing to change venues and find a wedding coordinator last minute, after already booking all our other vendors and planning a majority of the details. Karen was an answered prayer and thankfully was available to help us out with a 2 months Day-of Coordination package. Once she hopped on and worked with us two months out, we instantly felt relief & confidence that our special day was in good hands. Communication was great, her organization, her attention to detail and quick problem solving is unmatched. And she only works with the best - her assistant was just as amazing. Karen has a true eye for talent AND she genuinely cares! She has a special way of connecting with everyone and making you laugh and feel at ease even when the unexpected comes up. The wedding day came and everything went smoothly and beautifully! Karen was the glue between us, the guests, the vendors and our venue. We’re still waiting for our photography and videography to come back but from what friends and family have shared, they did an amazing job putting together the decor and all the details! My husband and I were in complete bliss and don’t think we ever had a worry during the day. It was funny because post-wedding, my husband and I were talking about how we should’ve hired a content creator because we were feeling so impatient with waiting for our photographer and videographer edits. Only to log onto Instagram moments later to see some beautiful stories from Karen and her assistant! AMAZING There is not enough money or reviews to thank Karen and her team enough. Karen is absolutely the best. In the words of my husband, she is the GOAT. He literally told me “You can give her all our money.” and honestly if we could start over, we would have hired and paid her for the Full Planning package for her expertise from beginning to end!

Detailed, organized, friendly, and just an overall wonderful human being. We hired Karen for 2-month coordination and right off the bat, she was such a thoughtful planner and her willingness to guide us through anything and everything was amazing. I love a good spreadsheet and Karen has the best!!! Every meeting with her was so productive and we left each one with clear next steps/homework. The day of the wedding, everything went SO smoothly. Karen and her team took care of setting up all of our decor and they did so beautifully! When I arrived to the venue and saw everything, I was taken aback by how stunning everything looked — we had a mix of florals, candles, and fruit for our decor so getting everything set up was no small feat. Karen’s creative eye flawlessly brought my vision to life and I am so so grateful! Outside of decor, Karen’s organization, vendor communication, and speedy cleanup at the end of night was top-notch. We were able to truly enjoy the night, knowing Karen was there. She even took fun videos of the reception on my phone, which were great to watch the morning after to help relive the night :’) Literally each one of my vendors raved about how much they loved working with Karen — if that’s not enough to convince you to hire her for your next event, idk what is! SUCH a pro. Would 100% recommend Karen to any couple!
The Best Wedding Planner
We had an amazing experience working with Aficial Events as our wedding planner. Their communication style was extremely detailed, organized, intuitive and understanding throughout the entire planning process, which helped make wedding planning feel smooth and enjoyable. Aficial Events was professional, organized and easy going in their approach while also ensuring every detail was thoughtfully planned out. On our big day everything went off without a hitch thanks to their diligent work, allowing us to relax and soak in every special moment. We never felt stressed because we knew we were in great hands with Aficial Events. They truly made our wedding day easy, fun and special!

We were so happy to work with Karen and her team for our wedding! We hired her to help us with 2 month and day-of coordination, and we really couldn't have done it without her. She is so organized, flexible, and well-connected, and that helped so much with our pre-wedding stress. Even when we would frantically reach out with questions, she would always ease our minds by responding in a timely manner and she was always willing to workshop ideas with us. Not to mention, she is such a bubbly and lovely person to have around! On the day of the wedding, Kim and Antonio were so calm, considerate, and organized - between the two of them and Karen's thoughtful coordination, our day truly went off without a hitch. We are so grateful for everything they did to help us have the perfect day!
