“We got married a week ago at Walden and I cannot say enough about how positive an experience it was! Krystle and Alyssa (our dream team of planners) were our saviors throughout the entire planning process. I hadn't planned on using a full service planner until I found out Walden included them in the venue rental and now I can't imagine planning a wedding without them! They truly made the entire process fun, even during the more stressful parts. The rest of the Walden team is equally as amazing - the catering staff delivered some of "the best food we've ever had at a wedding," as many of our guests raved to us! The bar team also ran such an efficient operation that there was rarely ever a line for drinks, so rare at a wedding! Both teams worked with us to accommodate special requests and really felt like they prioritized making our day feel unique and special. The space itself is gorgeous and requires very little extra decoration, which is a great money saver! The separate spaces for ceremony, cocktail, and reception really made each part of the evening feel special. One of my favorite parts was the getting ready room - so rare to find in a Chicago city venue! My girls and I all had the best time getting ready in the space and it made for a very relaxing morning to already be on site. I could write 1,000 more words about how amazing this venue is but trust me when I say that if you want to alleviate as much stress from planning your big day as possible - Walden is the venue for you!!”

“We can not recommend IG PHOTO VIDEO INC enough. We had Tetyana and Egidijus as our photographers and Irad as our videographer. We also were in contact with Ivan. He was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. From introducing us to Tetyana, Egidijus and Irad, How the process would happen from start to finish to getting our photos and videos back. The photos and video blew us out of the water. We are so in awe of the work and quality they put into our day. They were truly the best to work with from start to finish. The only thing is we have so many pictures I can not choose a favorite. (But that's a great problem to have) They truly captured my husband and I in our photos and videos and we are so blessed we came across their page. This company is 100 percent worth the money and we wouldn't have changed a single thing. You guys were amazing in person and in your work! You can definitely tell they love what they do by the work they produce. “I found Mike via thumbtack & although on there it stated he was booked on my wedding date I thought I’d still reach out to him. I’m so happy I did because he put me in touch with our dj, thankyouteddy and he did an awesome job djing for our wedding! Mike was very informative and gave me plenty of information. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”

However, at times they seemed a bit hurried when working with our wedding party and guests, though they remained attentive and eager to get the right shots. For example, the photographer remembered the little details that made our photos special, but we felt a bit rushed after the ceremony and didn't fully capture the joy of those moments. Overall, TWA provided solid photography services, but could have been a bit more patient and attuned to our desired pace for the day.”
