He welcomed us for multiple visits ahead of our wedding, offered helpful guidance throughout the planning process, and was incredibly easy to communicate with. Day-of coordination: My husband and I felt completely taken care of. Every detail was executed flawlessly, allowing us to truly enjoy the day with our families and guests without stress. Food & drink: The dinner went above and beyond — even better than our tasting, which says a lot! Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was. The family-style meal was a huge hit, offering everyone a chance to enjoy a range of entrées and portion sizes. I did not meet Tom face to face until the day of my wedding but from the videos I watched and the conversations we had I knew he would do great work....and I was not wrong! We received the teaser within a day of the wedding and it was magical. Our full length film and highlight were provided under 3 months and we absolutely loved all the shots he captured for our day. “We got married a week ago at Walden and I cannot say enough about how positive an experience it was! Krystle and Alyssa (our dream team of planners) were our saviors throughout the entire planning process. I hadn't planned on using a full service planner until I found out Walden included them in the venue rental and now I can't imagine planning a wedding without them! They truly made the entire process fun, even during the more stressful parts. The rest of the Walden team is equally as amazing - the catering staff delivered some of "the best food we've ever had at a wedding," as many of our guests raved to us! The bar team also ran such an efficient operation that there was rarely ever a line for drinks, so rare at a wedding! Both teams worked with us to accommodate special requests and really felt like they prioritized making our day feel unique and special. The space itself is gorgeous and requires very little extra decoration, which is a great money saver! The separate spaces for ceremony, cocktail, and reception really made each part of the evening feel special. One of my favorite parts was the getting ready room - so rare to find in a Chicago city venue! My girls and I all had the best time getting ready in the space and it made for a very relaxing morning to already be on site. I could write 1,000 more words about how amazing this venue is but trust me when I say that if you want to alleviate as much stress from planning your big day as possible - Walden is the venue for you!!”

He was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. From introducing us to Tetyana, Egidijus and Irad, How the process would happen from start to finish to getting our photos and videos back. The photos and video blew us out of the water. We are so in awe of the work and quality they put into our day. They were truly the best to work with from start to finish. The only thing is we have so many pictures I can not choose a favorite. (But that's a great problem to have) They truly captured my husband and I in our photos and videos and we are so blessed we came across their page. “I found Mike via thumbtack & although on there it stated he was booked on my wedding date I thought I’d still reach out to him. I’m so happy I did because he put me in touch with our dj, thankyouteddy and he did an awesome job djing for our wedding! Mike was very informative and gave me plenty of information. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”

“We hired Afterglow Weddings and Events as a day of coordinator for our wedding at the end of March 2025. Olivia started working with us several months before the wedding and was a necessary part of our day. She was very helpful with booking last minute vendors we needed, including live ceremony musicians and party bus rentals. But the day of could not have happened without her. Olivia and Abby, her assistant, kept me sane and had everything taken care of. Our photographers were having issues communicating a specific stance while taking pictures and Abby stepped up to assist in explaining what was needed from the bridal party, which helped me avoid a meltdown. They were constantly checking on my husband and I to make sure everything was what we wanted. Olivia was very communicative throughout the wedding planning process and was very thoughtful the day of, which is essential. She handled all communication with our vendors. We would definitely recommend them if you want to feel calm on your wedding day! We were very happy that they were a part of our day and I had zero worries that day of because of them.”

“I got a call right away once I made an inquiry about booking my destination wedding through Destify. Once i decided to actually use them it was still fairly easy. I wanted a resort that wasn't on their list so they said they would get with that resort and try and allow us and Destify to work with them. That took a while, and as the actual resort was emailing me back, the sales person at Destify said they were not responding to her. Then I quit getting responses from my original destify sales girl. Eventually I expressed my frustration with her and things started moving better. We got the resort that i wanted booked (and i am soooo appreciative of that because the resort was perfect) and i moved on to a new group at destify. Kelly, Brandie, & Matt. THEY WERE WONDERFUL!!!!! I can't express enough how good and easy it was working with them. Any questions I had it was answered so quickly. I asked Matt for a QR code and it was done so fast.. much faster than I expected. Overall my experience with Destify was great besides just the beginning steps.”
