“Lindsay with Mostest was AMAZING! She helped us tremendously when the event planner for the Charleston Princess quit just a few weeks before my daughter’s wedding. There were many obstacles to navigate including not being able to board the vessel to set up and decorate until 2 hours before guests would begin boarding. Lindsay single handedly transported a car load of personalized details, decorations, party favors, bar items, extra linens, numerous picture frames and a huge Charleston Harbor nautical chart that served as the guest book. She had to take several trips from her car down a very long pier to get to the boat and set it all up in such a short time span. She managed it all beautifully! The timeline she created was amazing and we were actually a bit ahead of schedule prior to the ceremony. This gave us all some time to relax while sweet Lindsay was preparing for all of our guests to arrive. After the reception, Lindsay stayed on board and began packing up all of our special items carefully. We returned to the vessel after sending the bride and groom off, to find that she had managed to pack most of our items without our help. I can’t say enough about all that she did for us, especially with all of the hiccups and stresses we faced the last few weeks. She handled everything with such grace and poise! This MOB was quite stressed with the adversity we were facing that was out of our control and Lindsay smoothed everything out!! I can’t say enough about her!! “Connie & Justine were so incredibly helpful. In the beginning, I was crazy enough to think I may not need a DOC until I had my first phone call with Connie. You think you have everything together but they TRULY do. They do not miss a detail. From the beginning, they schedule your meetings together and give you an outline of what to work on and guide you on the goal timeframe to have certain things done. They give great recommendations when you feel lost or overwhelmed. We had a rehearsal the day before our wedding to set up decor and do a mock ceremony. They were there before us, already setting up decor and getting everything organized. They did great directing everyone & keeping the focus of a large wedding party. I also can’t say how amazing it is that they have decor you can rent for booking with them. That is UNHEARD of with all of the coordinators I looked at. Even the night before the wedding they were able to get last minute details that I had forgotten. The day of, Justine did amazing. She made sure to let you enjoy your day but also check in to make sure everything was running smoothly. I truly did not have a single thing go wrong the day of the wedding. And if something did, I’m sure Justine took care of it without me ever knowing. I also have to say that Connie worked closely with me even while her husband was battling a severe illness in the hospital. That type of dedication is truly admirable and there is no question that I could have had such a great day without them. Thank you ladies!! P.S. “Where do I even start?! We had Hanna Marie Events for our Day of Coordinator, Content Creation, and we also did the Wedding Management Package. If I could go back, I would do the same thing over again! From the very beginning, Hanna felt like a friend. She’s incredibly sweet, down to earth, and is truly there to support you in creating the best day of your life. On top of that, she’s very knowledgeable, organized, and can probably answer any question you’d ever have. Throughout the planning process, I always felt supported. Hanna responds quickly to emails and was always in my corner helping me make the right decisions when I had no clue what I was doing. There’s no way our wedding would have turned out so seamless and beautiful if it wasn’t for HME. On our wedding day, everything went smoothly and beautifully. “Working with the Oso team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We actually hired them about 2 years in advance, so we got to work with them for a super long time! One of the biggest reasons that we wanted to hire Oso specifically was because of their decor inventory, which was 100% available to use at no additional cost with their full wedding planning package. Weddings can be extremely wasteful in terms of decor, so it was nice to be able to consciously be a bit more sustainable! We honestly ended up hiring Oso for so many other services as well — Michelle did an amazing job with our signage, they also have a great photobooth package, and Michelle’s sister owns Bobaholics so we were able to get a discounted rate for a boba bar! It really felt like a one-stop shop :) Michelle, Gen, Raymundo, and Gennie were all so helpful in coordinating with vendors and giving us wedding advice/guidance - working with them also gave us confidence that we weren’t missing any important steps or details of wedding planning. They were also available by text/email anytime, and they always responded extremely quickly, which I so appreciated! Talking to them felt more like talking to friends who were super passionate about wedding planning! “We were initially introduced to Wilder Minds Events after one of our friends recommended them to us for wedding planning. Aside from deciding on my husband, choosing Wilder Minds event planners was the best decision I made for my wedding. “Erika was the BEST choice!!! She is detail-oriented, always prepared, and so enjoyable to work with. I never felt stressed or overwhelmed because she was always calm - it gave me such confidence! I did the month-of package which is great for the bride that still wants to be mostly planning it but does not want to handle all of the details the month of. It was the perfect package for me to be stress-free in knowing she was following up with every vendor. “I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. “This lady is a god damned delight. Early in the planning process, my mother died and it totally sapped me of any appetite for planning. I felt overwhelmed, but when we hired Sarah she helped us turn it all around. She held our hands through the hard part and then helped us stay on task and organized when our energy and excitement came back. She helped us navigate being out of the country for 3 of the six months prior to the wedding. She already had experience and relationships with most of our vendors, which helped those contracts go more smoothly and meant less management from us was required. She was 100% ready to get behind any project we could come up with — she supported our vision like it was her own. Whenever I asked her to find someone who could bring an idea to life, she always did so quickly and often with options to choose from. Her depth of connections meant that when I needed a new photographer with just six weeks to go, she was able to give me at least ten available and talented options in 24 hours. She is a wedding planner pro. Most importantly, she is just a lot of FUN and FUNNY. We enjoyed spending time with her on our monthly check in calls, at tastings, walk throughs, and finally the weekend of the wedding itself. She’s a joyful, quirky, nonjudgmental person who really loves weddings and helping couples have the day of their dreams. She is an LGBTQ affirming vendor which is obviously very important to us as a queer couple.
